Volume lines and programme lines

Onions, carrots and sweet potatoes move by the container. Tomatoes, capsicum, beans and lettuce move to a weekly programme.

Vegetables split into two books and we run them differently. The storage lines are sold on size band and grade. The fresh lines — tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, lettuce, capsicum, broccoli, chillies — are grown against a forecast you give us, harvested to a weekly call-off and cooled before they are palletised. Cauliflower, leek and cherry tomatoes are grown on the same programmes and quoted on request.

Weekly programme lines need a forecast. Tell us the volume and the weeks and we will plant to it.
